The show takes his name from a recurring phrase in the two texts that constitute it and that is associated with predator logic - the first situation personified by a journalist and the second one by a self-entitled Security agent. In the first text, O Suicida, the approach refers to the relationship that some sly and cynical media create and maintain with the citizen, appreciating the journalism fact, even if perverted in its meaning, based on the pageantry and with indifference for rigor. In the second text, O Segurança, the dramatic narrative refers to an approach to the prepotency by a supposed agent of authority over an unsuspecting citizen: the deductions and inductions in the event of a public road inquiry assume a particularly critical importance, emphasized by a register somewhat absurd.
Texts from today: cruel, ironic, absurd.

Press highlight

‘Luís Vicente’s gaze was a very different happening, of the kind that is already rare to find in theatre. It’s a gaze of someone who is astonished by the lack of dignity given to the human being in general. (…) Luís Vicente was perfectly convincing in his role of an unwary and peaceful bystander, while Paulo Matos gripped a psychopathic character with a bit of excessive energy.’
Ana Cristina Oliveira, Jornal do Algarve, 29/05/08
